If you are driving from southern Canberra

If you are driving from Northern Canberra

Drive south on the Tuggeranong Parkway and turn right onto Cotter Road. Follow Cotter Road for approximately 3.5km, then turn right into Uriarra Road. You will see Stromlo Forest Park located on the left hand side with the main entrance located approximately 1km on the left hand side.

From William Hovell Drive, turn into Coppins Crossing Road and follow this until you reach the T-junction intersection of Coppins Crossing Road and Uriarra Road. Turn right onto Uriarra Road and the main entrance to Stromlo Forest Park is located approximately 150 metres on the left hand side.

If you are coming by mountain bike

Ride south from Scrivener Dam along the bike path towards Weston Creek. Just as the bike path swings to the east a rough dirt track will take you down to a bridge across the Molonglo river. From here climb the main fire road towards the Cotter Road, then veer right and parallel to the sealed road. You will eventually arrive at the old Deeks Reserve parking area. Cross the road and enter Stromlo Forest Park through the northern most of two entrance points, then follow the beginner's singletrack loop clockwise to the Event Centre.

If you are coming by road bike

Be very very careful riding on Cotter Road. It is not recommended that you cycle to Stromlo Forest Park along the road corridor until such time as the planned bike infrastructure is implemented.
